Chordscape is a massive collection of custom soundscapes and drones packaged inside an incredible new 'concept-sampler'.
We could not be more excited to introduce you to Chordscape, a massive collection of custom soundscapes and drones packaged inside an incredible new 'concept-sampler'.
The much anticipated launch of the new Soundscape Tapeloop Sequencer, Chordscape, has been creating excitement for good reason. Chordscape features 4 sounds sources, an advanced browser and a re-pitched non-stop sequencer. Simply press play and adjust the parameters to create infinite-length evolving sounds that can be re-pitched using automation, mid or the inbuilt sequencers.
Our new Soundscape Tapeloop Sequencer provides the tools to modulate every parameter to create lush, warm and unique evolving passages of sound for use in ambient, drone-music, film-scoring or atmospheric tension. Chordscape allows nearly every single control to be modulated over time, from creating pulses to stepped sequences, giving you full control.
The comprehensive and versatile sound library perfectly lends itself to producing all sorts of different sound design scenarios. Chordscape has an infinite number of ambient soundscapes, pads and moving textures: 13 sound categories for each 4 sound sources. With 8GB of sound designed content produced from acoustic instruments, natural recordings, sound design, outboard effects and synthesizers, be prepared to get lost in the seemingly unlimited options.
The truly unique feature of Chordscape is that it is designed to imitate the way a tape machine works. Once you kickstart the engine, you can create movement by modulating and automating the parameters whilst it continues to play. The results are incredibly effective, creating unique evolving sounds that last indefinitely.
Created in partnership with our good friends Erick McNerney and Lindon Parker, each sound has been carefully created from scratch to fit the engine and philosophy of the library.
Chordscape is a new way of approaching your music and will likely be the only soundscape sampler that you'll ever need.
